Adjust Dappled Shaders' Color Warmth and Saturation
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (usually accessible through your graphics menu or a dedicated keybind). Look for the Dappled Shaders configuration panel.
Customize Autumn Tones
Locate the color adjustment sliders, typically labeled for warmth, saturation, or golden tone intensity. These control how pronounced the autumn aesthetic appears:
- Increase warmth to enhance golden and orange hues across the landscape
- Decrease warmth if the golden tones feel overwhelming or too yellow
- Adjust saturation to make fall colors more vivid or more muted depending on your preference
Fine-Tune Lighting Balance
Look for ambient lighting or sunlight intensity controls. You can:
- Brighten or dim the overall golden sunlight
- Adjust how much ambient shadow detail appears in valleys and under trees
- Modify the color temperature of shadows to stay warm or become cooler
Test changes in different biomes and times of day. Forest areas will show the most dramatic effect from shadow adjustments, while open plains will highlight your sunlight changes. Save your preferred settings and they'll persist across sessions.
