Locating and Mining Granite Rock Formations
Finding Granite Clusters
Granite rock formations spawn naturally in the dappled forest as occasional large clusters. They appear as gray stone formations breaking through the green vegetation. Search the forest floor and hillsides for patches of exposed gray stone—these clusters are your target. The rolling terrain means formations often appear on slopes or in valleys.
Mining Granite
Use a pickaxe to mine granite blocks. Stone or higher-tier pickaxes work effectively. Granite clusters are large enough to yield significant quantities, making them worthwhile for building projects. The stone has a distinctive speckled appearance useful for decorative builds.
Strategic Harvesting
Mark granite locations as you explore so you can return later with proper tools. Large clusters mean you won't need to search far for more stone once you've found one. The dappled forest's natural granite formations provide a renewable stone source without requiring deep mining, making them ideal for players who prefer surface-level gathering.
