Locating Berry Bushes

Sweet berry bushes spawn naturally across the dappled forest floor, especially in clearings and along water edges. They're most visible in areas with lower tree density. Walk slowly through the forest and look for low, dense green vegetation distinct from ferns and wildflowers.

Harvesting Berries

Approach the bush and right-click to harvest sweet berries. Each bush yields multiple berries per harvest. Bushes will regrow after a short time, making them a renewable food source. You can also break the bush entirely with any tool or your hand, though this destroys it permanently—leave some bushes intact if you plan to return to the area.

Using Your Harvest

Sweet berries restore hunger and can be eaten raw. They're useful early-game food when other resources are scarce. Collect berries from multiple bushes to build up a food supply before venturing into caves or dangerous areas. The dappled forest's abundance of bushes makes this biome ideal for new players gathering provisions.
