Using Damage Tint to Track Mob Health in Group Combat

Identify Damaged Targets Quickly

When fighting multiple mobs, the damage tint provides instant visual feedback on which enemies have taken hits. As you attack, damaged mobs will flash or change color, making it easy to spot which targets are weakened.

Prioritize Targets Strategically

Use the tint to focus fire on mobs that are already damaged:

  • Finish weakened mobs first by targeting those showing the most recent or intense tint effect.
  • Avoid spreading damage across healthy mobs when possible—concentrate attacks on visibly damaged enemies.
  • Track dangerous mobs like Creepers or Endermen by watching for their tint to gauge remaining health.

Coordinate with Other Players

In multiplayer, the damage tint helps you and allies avoid duplicate targeting. If a mob is already showing heavy tint from your teammate's attacks, switch to a fresh target to maximize group damage output.

This mod transforms chaotic mob fights into more readable encounters, especially in caves or during raids where multiple enemies swarm at once.
