Distinguishing Between Player and Mob Damage in PvP

Recognize Damage Source Through Tint Feedback

Damage Tint Mod applies the same visual effect to both mobs and players when they take damage. In PvP scenarios, this helps you confirm hits are landing on opponents. When you strike another player, you'll see their character flash or tint, providing immediate confirmation of a successful attack.

Track Opponent Health During Combat

Watch for repeated tint flashes on your opponent:

  • Frequent tinting indicates you're dealing consistent damage and your opponent is weakening.
  • Reduced tint visibility may suggest your opponent is using healing items or regeneration effects.
  • Sudden tint appearance from other directions reveals when teammates are also engaging the same target.

Adapt Your Strategy

Use the visual feedback to decide whether to continue attacking a weakened opponent or switch targets. In team fights, coordinate with allies by calling out which players show heavy tint, indicating they're close to defeat.

The mod removes guesswork from combat, making it easier to judge when to press an advantage or retreat.
