Disabling Damage Tint for Specific Entities or Situations

Access Entity-Specific Settings

If the damage tint becomes distracting or you want selective control, check the mod's configuration file for entity filtering options. Some versions allow you to create blacklists or whitelists of entities that should or shouldn't display the tint effect.

Configure Selective Visibility

Common customization options include:

  • Disable tint for players only if you find it distracting in PvP.
  • Disable tint for specific mob types like Armor Stands or decorative entities.
  • Turn off tint in creative mode to keep your view clean while building.
  • Exclude passive mobs if you only want feedback on hostile entities.

Reload and Verify

After editing the configuration, save changes and reload your world. Test by damaging the entities you've excluded—they should no longer display the tint effect.

If your mod loader supports it, you may also toggle the entire mod on or off using a keybind, giving you quick control without editing files each time.
