Troubleshoot Common Visual Issues with Cyberpunk Shaders
Fix Flickering or Unstable Lighting
If lights flicker or the scene appears unstable:
- Update your graphics drivers. Shader packs are sensitive to GPU driver versions.
- Disable VSync or enable it, depending on your current setting—this often resolves temporal instability.
- Lower Shadow Distance in shader options. Extreme shadow ranges can cause calculation errors.
- Reduce Bloom Intensity if the glow effect is pulsing or unstable.
Address Color Palette Problems
If the neon colors look wrong or washed out:
- Check your monitor color settings. Cyberpunk Shaders uses a specific color grading; a poorly calibrated monitor will look dull.
- Verify you're testing at night time in-game. The shader's color palette is designed for darkness.
- Adjust Saturation in shader options if available—increase it if colors feel muted.
- Ensure Bloom is enabled; without it, neon lights lose their signature glow.
Resolve Black Screens or Crashes
If the game won't load or shows a black screen:
- Confirm your GPU supports the shader version (check mod documentation).
- Reduce Render Distance significantly and test again.
- Disable Advanced Lighting Features or Ray Tracing if available in options.
