Optimize Cyberpunk Shaders Performance on Lower-End Systems
Reduce Visual Quality Settings
Cyberpunk Shaders is demanding due to its intensive lighting calculations and neon glow effects. Access the shader options menu (usually by pressing a key like Shift+O or through your shader pack settings) and lower these settings:
- Shadow Distance: Reduce from maximum to medium range. This cuts the area where deep shadows are calculated.
- Bloom/Glow Intensity: Dial back the neon glow effect. This is one of the heaviest features.
- Ambient Occlusion: Disable or set to low. This darkens crevices but costs significant performance.
- Reflection Quality: Lower or disable reflective surfaces if available.
Adjust Minecraft Video Settings
Before tweaking shader options, optimize your base game:
- Set Render Distance to 8–12 chunks instead of maximum.
- Disable Fancy Graphics; use Fast instead.
- Turn off Smooth Lighting or set it to minimum.
- Lower Particles to minimal.
- Disable VSync if your monitor supports it, or cap framerate lower than your refresh rate.
These changes preserve the cyberpunk aesthetic while making the pack playable on modest hardware.
