Access and Customize Your Mod Configuration
Opening the Config Screen
CyanLib provides a built-in configuration screen accessible directly from the client. Look for the mod settings option in your main menu or pause screen—this varies depending on which Aeldit mod you're configuring, as CyanLib handles the backend.
Navigating Configuration Options
Once in the config screen, you'll see settings organized by the mods that depend on CyanLib. Each mod's options appear in separate sections. Use the search or scroll through categories to find the setting you need.
Common configuration areas include:
- Feature toggles (enable/disable specific mod content)
- Performance settings
- Gameplay balance adjustments
- Client-side visual options
Saving Your Changes
Changes made through the config screen are saved automatically. You do not need to manually edit configuration files unless you prefer working with raw config files in your .minecraft/config folder.
If a setting requires a game restart to take effect, the screen will typically indicate this. Some changes apply immediately.
