Customize Heart Colors for Different Game Modes

Understanding Heart Variants

The Cute Hotbar Icons Resource Pack includes different heart designs for standard survival mode and hardcore mode. Each style uses distinct colors and shapes to match the mood of your playthrough.

Switching Between Styles

The pack automatically applies the correct heart style based on your game mode:

• Survival Mode: Uses bright, colorful hearts with rounded designs
• Hardcore Mode: Applies custom hardcore-specific hearts with unique visual details

When you create a new world, simply select your difficulty. If you're playing hardcore, the hearts will update to reflect the higher stakes of permanent death.

Viewing Your Hearts

Your health display appears in the bottom-left corner of your screen. Take damage from any source—mobs, fall damage, or environmental hazards—to see the hearts change color and style as your health decreases. The pack's colorful design makes it easier to track your health at a glance compared to vanilla hearts.

If you switch between game modes in existing worlds, you may need to reload your resource pack for the heart styles to update properly.
