Make Days Longer or Shorter

Adjust Day and Night Duration

Customize how long the day and night phases last in your current dimension without affecting game speed or tick rate.

Steps

1. Open chat (T key by default)

2. Type /timecycle set [day_duration] [night_duration]

3. Replace [day_duration] and [night_duration] with your desired tick values

4. Press Enter

Examples

• For a longer day cycle, use higher tick values
• For a shorter day cycle, use lower tick values
• You can set day and night to different lengths independently
• The command only affects your current dimension

After applying the command, the new cycle begins immediately. Use /timecycle status to confirm your changes took effect. If you want to revert to default settings, use /timecycle reset.
