Check Your Current Day-Night Duration
View Current Settings
Use the status command to see what day and night durations are active in your current dimension.
Steps
1. Open the chat window (T key by default)
2. Type /timecycle status
3. Press Enter
The mod will display a message showing the current day duration and night duration in ticks for your dimension. This is useful when you're unsure what settings are active, especially if you're playing on a server or have switched dimensions.
Understanding the Output
The status message tells you the exact tick count for both day and night phases. Since the mod preserves the tick rate (20 ticks per second), you can divide the tick count by 1200 to convert to real-life minutes if needed. For example, 24000 ticks equals 20 real-life minutes, which is the default Minecraft day-night cycle.
