Configuring Field of View in Custom FoV Mod

Customizing Your Field of View

Custom FoV Mod is a client-side mod, so it works without any server-side installation. All of its options are handled through the configuration file rather than an in-game menu.

The mod lets you control the individual field of view changes that normally occur while flying, aiming, underwater, and moving at speed. Speed-related changes are split further into sprinting and potion effect changes, so each can be tuned separately.

Two main settings drive this. FoV Effect Mode decides which changes apply at all: all field of view changes, only vanilla changes, only modded changes, or none. FoV Effect Scaling then scales each change type (speed, sprinting, aiming, flying, submerged) anywhere from 0% to 100%.

These settings stack with the vanilla "FOV Effects" slider, which still scales every change globally. A Static FoV option disables vanilla field of view changes entirely.
