Create a Two-Tone Wooden Fence

Gather Your Materials

Collect logs or planks from two different wood types. The mod allows you to combine any two wood varieties to create a bicolored fence, so choose woods that complement your build—for example, dark oak with birch, or spruce with acacia.

Craft Your Custom Fence

Open a crafting table. Place your first wood type and second wood type in the recipe grid according to the fence pattern you want to create. The mod provides multiple fence styles (classic, wildlife, garden, spire, crisscross, and others), and each style can be crafted with your chosen wood combination.

Place and Build

Once crafted, place your bicolored fence blocks in your desired location. The two wood types will create a visually distinct pattern on the fence. You can mix different combinations across your structure for varied designs.

Add Matching Gates

For a cohesive look, craft matching gate variants using the same two wood types. Gates will display the same bicolored aesthetic and connect seamlessly with your custom fences, creating an elegant and unified fence line.
