Change Your Client Brand Name

Access Mod Menu

Open your game and press the Mod Menu key (default: O). Search for "Custom Client Brand Mod" in the mod list and click the configuration button.

Set Your Custom Brand

In the mod settings, locate the text field labeled for client brand customization. Enter your desired brand name—this can be anything from a custom client name to a personal identifier.

Apply and Verify

Save your changes and restart your game or rejoin a server. Your new brand string will now be sent to servers during login instead of the default "vanilla" identifier. This is useful if you want servers to recognize you as using a specific client variant or if you're testing server-side brand detection systems.

Note: Some servers may have restrictions on what brand strings they accept. If a server rejects your connection, try reverting to a standard brand name like "vanilla" or "fabric".
