Getting Started with Cursed Energy

Basics

Begin by crafting a cursed energy bottle using iron and redstone dust. This unlocks your ability to charge cursed energy for combat. Equip cursed focus to build up energy during fights, then release it into a black flash attack that slows and knocks back enemies.

Progression

Defeat minibosses like the Finger Bearer (summoned from a Cursed Womb) to obtain special drops that unlock new movesets. Each character progression—from universal combat moves to specialized techniques like Reversal Red or Cleave—requires defeating specific bosses using their associated summoning items.

Tools and Mobility

Craft cursed tools like Nanami's Cleaver for precision timing hits, or equip Grasshopper Wings for gliding and poison immunity. Athletic Boots provide movement bonuses and directional dashing. These items integrate into survival gameplay without breaking progression.
