Understand When Curses Are Applied

Know the Curse Window Timing

Curse enchantments are not applied randomly throughout the night. They appear at three specific random times within a set window: between 12am and 3am in-game time. Understanding this timing helps you plan your sleep schedule.

Key Points:

• Curses apply at exactly three moments during the 12am–3am period
• The exact times are randomized each night
• Only items in your inventory when a curse triggers will be affected
• After 3am, you're safe from new curses until the next night

Plan Your Sleep Schedule

The simplest strategy is to sleep before 12am arrives. Go to bed around 11pm in-game to avoid the curse window entirely. This guarantees your inventory stays safe and you wake refreshed for the next day.

If you must stay awake, keep track of the in-game time using your clock or by watching the sky. Once 3am passes, the danger is over and you can safely carry your best items again until the next nightfall.
