Customize Animation Timing and Sounds
Animation Configuration
Beyond basic playback, you can fine-tune how animations behave through resource packs.
1. Locate or create animation definition files in your resource pack
2. Adjust animation frame timing to speed up or slow down eating motions
3. Modify keyframe positions to change how your character moves
4. Test changes by holding the item and pressing U
Sound Synchronization
To match sounds with animation frames:
- Identify which frame numbers correspond to key moments (chewing, swallowing)
- Assign sound events to trigger at those specific frames
- Use sound file paths that point to audio in your resource pack
- Reload the resource pack to hear changes in-game
This level of customization lets you create polished, cohesive eating experiences where motion and audio feel synchronized and natural.
