Use Ingredients from Different Mods in One Recipe

How Cross-Mod Ingredients Work

Culinary Bridge Mod automatically groups similar ingredients from different mods into shared tags. This means a cheese from one mod will work in recipes that originally called for cheese from another mod—no conversion or crafting step needed.

Using Mixed Ingredients

1. Gather ingredients from any installed cooking mod. You don't need to match the original mod that created a recipe.

2. Place ingredients in a recipe exactly as the recipe shows. The mod translates your ingredient on the fly.

3. Cook normally. The recipe will accept your ingredient if it belongs to the same role category (protein, dairy, starch, etc.).

For example: if a recipe needs "milk," you can use milk from Mod A, Mod B, or Mod C—whichever you have. The same applies to cheese, meat, eggs, and other shared foods.

What Gets Bridged

Common bridged categories include proteins (raw/cooked meat, fish), dairy (milk, cheese, butter), starches (wheat, rice, potatoes), sweeteners (sugar, honey), and cooking liquids. Check your installed mods' recipe books to see which ingredients are available.
