Adjust Scanline Intensity for Your Preference
Finding the Shader Settings
CRT Monitor Shaders includes configurable options to control how prominent the horizontal scanlines appear on your screen. Access the shader configuration through your shader settings menu (usually found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options).
Tuning Scanline Visibility
Look for settings labeled "Scanline Strength," "Scanline Intensity," or similar. Increasing this value makes the horizontal lines more visible and pronounced, creating a stronger retro arcade feel. Decreasing it produces a subtler effect that's less visually fatiguing during long play sessions.
If you're building a sci-fi terminal room and want maximum authenticity, push the scanlines higher. For general survival gameplay where you want atmosphere without distraction, try a moderate setting around the middle of the range.
Testing Your Changes
After adjusting, look at bright areas like glowing blocks or the sky to see the scanline effect most clearly. The lines should be most visible on uniform, bright surfaces. If the effect feels too strong or too weak, return to settings and fine-tune until it matches your vision for the build or playstyle.
