Use Infinity and Mending Together on a Crossbow

Setup Your Crossbow

This mod allows you to break the vanilla rule that prevents Infinity and Mending from coexisting. You can now have both enchantments on a single crossbow.

How to Apply Both Enchantments

You have two main approaches:

Using an Enchanting Table: Enchant your crossbow normally. The mod removes the conflict, so if you get both enchantments through random table rolls, they'll stick together.

Using Anvils: Combine enchanted books with your crossbow. Place your crossbow in the left slot and an Infinity book in the right slot to merge them. Then repeat with a Mending book. The anvil will accept both without canceling either one.

What This Means for Gameplay

With Infinity, you'll never consume arrows. With Mending, any experience orbs you collect will repair your crossbow automatically. This creates a self-sustaining weapon that never needs ammunition restocking or repair at a grindstone—ideal for long expeditions or endgame content.

Note: You still need at least one arrow in your inventory to fire with Infinity active, even though it won't be consumed.
