Combine Piercing and Multishot on One Crossbow

Understanding the Combination

Vanilla Minecraft prevents Piercing and Multishot from existing together because they conflict mechanically. This mod removes that restriction, letting you fire multiple arrows that all pass through enemies.

Applying Both Enchantments

Via Enchanting Table: Keep enchanting until you land both. Since the mod allows it, any rolls that give you Piercing and Multishot will both apply.

Via Anvil (Recommended): This is more reliable. Combine your crossbow with a Piercing book first, then merge in a Multishot book. Each merge costs experience levels but guarantees the enchantment sticks.

Combat Behavior

When you fire, your crossbow will shoot multiple arrows in a spread pattern (Multishot), and each arrow will pierce through mobs instead of stopping at the first target (Piercing). This creates devastating area damage, especially useful against tight groups of enemies or when fighting through multiple targets in a line.

Higher Piercing levels increase how many enemies each arrow passes through, multiplying the effect when combined with Multishot's multiple projectiles.
