Make Your Creeper Crosshair Transparent or Semi-Transparent

Access the Crosshair Texture

Navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/gui/ within your resource pack folder and open the crosshair PNG file in an image editor that supports transparency, such as GIMP or Photoshop.

Adjust Transparency Levels

You can modify the opacity of the entire Creeper face or specific parts of it:

  • Full transparency: Reduce the opacity slider to make the entire crosshair see-through while keeping it visible
  • Partial transparency: Lower the opacity to 50-75% so the Creeper face is visible but doesn't block your view as much
  • Selective transparency: Make only the Creeper's face transparent while keeping the outline solid, or vice versa

Save and Apply

Save your changes as a PNG file (ensure the alpha channel is preserved for transparency). Reload your resource pack in Minecraft. Your new semi-transparent crosshair will now blend better with the world behind it, giving you a clearer view while still showing the Creeper design.
