Each hostile mob in Creatures of Petrichor spawns in specific biomes and conditions. Shroomin appears in forest areas, while Direwolf hunts across open plains in packs. Meadow Slime is exclusive to plains biomes at night. Dark forests and shadowy areas attract Shade, Specter, and Will O Wisp—the latter being rare and most active deep in forests.

Wandering Lantern spawns rarely but is identifiable by its glowing lantern, making it visible even in darkness. Cursed Doll appears in various biomes and uses ranged magic attacks. Vengeful Gravestone can spawn anywhere but is most common near dark areas.

Preparation Tips

Explore during daytime first to learn mob locations without immediate danger. Bring a shield when venturing into areas where Cursed Doll spawns—its magic attacks can be blocked. Listen for audio cues; many mobs have distinct sounds that signal their presence before you see them.
