View Tab Information and Details

Check Tab Properties

Each item category has metadata you can inspect to understand what it contains and identify it uniquely.

Steps:

1. Open the Creative Tab Organizer

2. Click on any tab to select it

3. Look for the information panel (usually on the side or bottom of the interface)

4. You'll see details like:

• The exact name/ID of the tab
• How many items it contains
• Which mod it belongs to

5. This information helps you identify duplicate or similar tabs

Use Details for Organization Decisions

Tab information is useful when:

• Multiple mods add overlapping categories and you need to decide which to keep visible
• You're troubleshooting and need to identify a specific tab's source
• You want to know if a tab is worth keeping (check item count)
• You're organizing by mod and need to verify which mod owns each tab

This feature is especially helpful in large modpacks where tabs from different mods might have similar names or purposes.
