Troubleshoot Why One-Punch Isn't Working

Check Your Game Mode

The one-punch feature only works in Creative Mode. If you're in Survival, Adventure, or Spectator mode, bare-hand punches won't instantly kill mobs.

Verify:

1. Open your inventory or pause menu

2. Confirm you're in Creative Mode

3. Switch to Creative if needed

4. Try punching a mob again

Check What You're Holding

If you're holding any weapon or tool, the mod applies that item's normal damage instead of instant death.

Fix:

1. Look at your hotbar

2. Make sure no weapon is selected or in your hand

3. Press a number key to empty your hand, or use the drop key

4. Punch the mob again

Verify the Mod Is Active

If neither of the above works, the mod may not be loaded. Check that it's properly installed in your mods folder and enabled in your mod menu. Restart the game if you recently added it.
