Creating Custom Pressing and Compacting Recipes
Pressing Recipes
Create's Press uses mods.create.Pressing. The recipe maps one input item to one output item. A minimal example:
`zenscript
mods.create.Pressing.addRecipe(<minecraft:iron_ingot>, <minecraft:iron_nugget>);
`
Pressing recipes are single-input, single-output, so do not pass arrays. If you need a byproduct, use a different machine handler instead.
Compacting Recipes
Compacting (the Mechanical Press over a basin) uses mods.create.Compacting. These recipes can take multiple item inputs and optionally a fluid, similar to mixing, and produce an output. Pass the output first, then the input array, then the fluid or null:
`zenscript
mods.create.Compacting.addRecipe(<minecraft:diamond>, [<minecraft:coal>, <minecraft:coal>], null);
`
Removing Defaults
Both handlers support removeRecipe(output) and input-based removal. Remove the built-in recipe before adding your replacement so the two do not conflict. After editing, run /ct reload. Test pressing with a press on a depot, and compacting with a press over a basin, to confirm each recipe triggers. If a compacting recipe needs heat, remember that requirement is separate and not set through this handler.
