Adding a Custom Crushing Recipe (Crushing Wheels) in CreateTweaker

The Crushing Handler

Create's Crushing Wheels recipes are handled through mods.create.Crushing. A crushing recipe takes one input item and produces one or more outputs, optionally with a chance-based secondary output. The basic call looks like:

`zenscript

mods.create.Crushing.addRecipe(<minecraft:gravel>, [<minecraft:sand>]);

`

For multiple outputs or chanced outputs, pass additional stacks in the output array. Chanced outputs are expressed with a percentage wrapper so the wheels only sometimes drop the extra item.

Chanced Outputs and Removal

If you want a byproduct that drops only occasionally, add it as a chanced stack rather than a guaranteed one. This mirrors how Create's own ore-crushing recipes behave. To override a vanilla Create crushing recipe, first call mods.create.Crushing.removeRecipe(<input>) for that input, then add your replacement. Always keep the input as a single IItemStack — crushing does not accept arrays of inputs the way mixing does. Save the script and run /ct reload. Verify by feeding the input through a pair of crushing wheels; if nothing happens, confirm the item name resolves and that no other script removed the same recipe afterward.
