Choosing Your Refinery

You have two main options for turning raw molten minerals into usable metals:

• Fluid Refineries handle basic fluid-to-fluid conversions quickly
• Distillery Towers are taller multi-block structures that process fluids into pure metals and fuels, but require temperature management

Setting Up a Distillery Tower

Build your distillery tower vertically according to the block pattern. Pipe molten ore into the input and connect output pipes for the refined metal. Distilleries require heat control—attach Radiators to regulate temperature. Without proper cooling, your distillery will overheat and stop working.

Managing Temperature

Place Radiators adjacent to your distillery and supply them with coolant or water. You can also pair Combustion Chambers nearby to add heat if your recipe demands it. Monitor the distillery's heat bar and adjust radiator placement until processing runs smoothly.

Once refined, your pure metal fluid is ready for casting into ingots or tool coatings.
