Cast Molten Metal into Ingots on a Production Line
Building the Casting Station
Set up a Casting Depot with a Mechanical Forge Mould attached. Position a conveyor belt beneath or beside the depot to catch finished ingots as they're cast.
Piping and Configuration
Connect your molten metal source (from a distillery or refinery) to the casting depot's input. The Mechanical Forge Mould determines what shape is cast—ensure it's set to ingot mode. Molten metal will flow into the mould and solidify onto the belt below.
Optimizing Throughput
For faster production, stack multiple casting depots in sequence along your belt line. Each depot with its own mould can cast simultaneously, multiplying your output. Ensure your molten metal supply is sufficient—if pressure drops, casting slows or stops.
Collect finished ingots at the belt's end and route them to storage or further crafting. Experiment with different moulds to cast specialty shapes beyond basic ingots.
