What Are Diamond Shards?

Diamond shards are crafted items in Create: Dreams n' Desires that can be combined to create full diamonds or used in advanced recipes. They're typically obtained through mechanical crafting systems added by the mod, making them a shortcut to diamond-tier materials.

Why This Data Pack Removes Them

The data pack disables the specific crafting recipe that produces diamond shards, forcing you to obtain diamonds through traditional mining or other legitimate progression methods. This prevents players from bypassing the normal survival difficulty curve.

What Still Works

All other Create mod features remain functional—mechanical crafters, automation systems, and other recipes are unaffected. Only the diamond shard recipe is blocked. If you need diamonds, you'll need to either mine them directly from diamond ore or find alternative crafting paths that don't involve shards.

Impact on Your World

If you've already crafted diamond shards before installing this pack, they won't disappear from your inventory. The pack only prevents *new* shards from being crafted going forward.
