How to Make Boba and Boba Cups in Create Cafe

Boba is the chewy tapioca topping that turns a plain milk tea into a proper bubble tea. Before you can brew anything with pearls, you need to grow and process the starch source.

Growing and Processing Cassava

Start by planting Cassava Seeds on farmland. Cassava grows into a Cassava plant, which you harvest for Cassava Root. You will need a steady supply, because a single drink consumes a portion of boba.

Process the Cassava Root into Boba using the mod's processing chain. In Create Cafe this is done through Create's mechanical processing rather than a vanilla crafting table, so set up the appropriate machines and route your Cassava Root through them. Keep the output flowing into a chest or basin so you always have pearls on hand.

Assembling a Boba Cup

Combine your finished Boba with a Boba Cup to create the serving vessel for your drinks. The Boba Cup is the container that holds the pearls and the tea together.

Once you have Boba Cups ready, you can pour any tea or milk tea into them to make a drinkable bubble tea. Keep a stack of cups and a stockpile of boba near your brewing station so you can assemble drinks quickly when customers or friends want a variety of flavors.
