Troubleshoot a Vehicle That Won't Move or Respond
Check Power and Rotation
Verify that your propeller, wheels, or lift mechanism are actually spinning. Look for rotation indicators or use a wrench to inspect connected components. If nothing rotates, your power source isn't connected properly. Trace redstone lines back to the motor or engine and ensure all connections are complete.
Verify Control Links
Confirm that your seat or control block is linked to steering and throttle systems. Test each control input individually—pitch, roll, yaw, and acceleration. If controls don't respond, redstone connections may be broken or misconfigured. Rebuild control circuits one system at a time.
Balance and Center of Mass
A vehicle that won't respond predictably often has an unbalanced center of mass. Add or remove weight blocks to shift balance toward the center. For aircraft, this is critical—if the nose is too heavy, it will dive; if too light, it will stall.
Rebuild Problem Systems
If troubleshooting fails, disassemble and rebuild the problematic subsystem from scratch. Start with a minimal working version, then add complexity gradually. This isolates which component is causing the issue.
