Create a Steerable Land Vehicle with Wheels
Choose Your Wheel Type
Create Aeronautics offers different wheel variants suited to different terrain. Select wheels appropriate for your intended surface—some grip better on grass, others on stone or sand. Gather at least four wheels for a stable four-wheel vehicle.
Build the Chassis
Construct a rectangular frame using solid blocks or chassis pieces. Mount wheels on all four corners, ensuring they're aligned and at the same height. Add a seat or control block on top where the driver will sit.
Add Steering and Power
Connect your wheels to a steering mechanism using redstone components. Link the wheels to a rotational power source—this could be a motor or mechanical transmission from Create. The steering input should control the front wheels' angle.
Test on Terrain
Board your vehicle and apply throttle. Steer gently to test responsiveness. Drive on flat ground first, then try slopes and obstacles. Adjust wheel placement or add suspension blocks if the vehicle tips easily or handles poorly.
