Build and Launch a Hot Air Balloon

Construct the Balloon Envelope

Create a large hollow structure using balloon blocks or similar buoyant material. The bigger the envelope, the more lift you generate. Make it roughly spherical or teardrop-shaped for optimal aerodynamics. Leave an opening at the bottom for the basket connection.

Attach the Basket and Seat

Build a small platform or basket structure beneath the balloon envelope using solid blocks. Place a seat or control block inside so you can pilot it. Connect the basket securely to the balloon using support struts.

Add Buoyancy or Lift Blocks

Place buoyant blocks (like those provided by the mod) inside or around your balloon structure. These generate upward force. The more buoyant blocks you add, the faster you'll ascend. Balance them so the balloon rises steadily without being uncontrollable.

Launch and Navigate

Board your balloon and activate the lift mechanism. You'll begin ascending. Use directional controls to move horizontally. Descend by reducing buoyancy or venting lift. Hot air balloons move slowly but offer excellent views and stable flight.
