Use Schematicannon with Container Blocks Safely

Container Blocks and the Schematicannon

Some blocks in Create and other mods function as containers—they hold items inside them. Examples include chests, barrels, and specialized storage blocks. The Schematicannon can place these, but the duplication bug made this risky.

Safe Placement Workflow

With this fix installed, you can safely use the Schematicannon to place container blocks:

1. Prepare a schematic that includes container blocks with pre-filled contents

2. Gather all items that should be inside those containers

3. Place these items in your inventory or the Schematicannon's input system

4. Activate the schematic placement

5. The cannon will place containers only if you have the required contents available
