Weighing Your Options

With this mod installed, you can now choose between crafting enchanted apples and finding them in treasure chests. Crafting requires significant gold investment but gives you control over when you obtain apples. Looting is unpredictable but requires no resource gathering.

When to Craft

Craft apples when you have excess gold and need guaranteed supplies before dangerous expeditions. This approach works well for planned boss fights or deep cave exploration where you know you'll need healing items.

When to Loot

Continue looting treasure chests during normal exploration. If you find apples while adventuring, take them—there's no reason to refuse free resources. This supplements your crafted supply without extra effort.

Hybrid Approach

Many players use both methods: collect apples from chests as they explore, and craft additional ones when preparing for specific challenges. This balances resource management with convenience, ensuring you always have backup apples available when needed most.
