Craft Your First Name Tag

Gather Materials

Before you can craft a name tag, you'll need to collect the required ingredients. This mod uses common, early-game materials that you can obtain without extensive mining or exploration. Check your crafting recipe book or hover over the name tag in the creative inventory to see the exact recipe.

Use the Crafting Table

Once you have all the materials, open a crafting table and arrange them according to the recipe pattern. The ingredients should be relatively inexpensive—materials you can find or craft quickly in survival mode. Place the items in the correct grid positions and craft the name tag.

Verify Your Result

You'll receive a name tag in your inventory. Unlike vanilla name tags found in loot chests, this one is now renewable and craftable whenever you need it. You can immediately use it to name any mob or entity in the game by holding the name tag and right-clicking on your target.

With this mod, you're no longer limited to the few name tags you might find while exploring—craft as many as you need for your pet projects, animal farms, or special mob displays.
