Repair Chainmail Armor on an Anvil

Prepare Your Anvil and Materials

Set up an anvil in your base or workspace. Gather iron nuggets—these are used to repair chainmail pieces, just as iron ingots repair iron armor. Have your damaged chainmail armor piece ready.

Repair at the Anvil

Place your damaged chainmail armor in the anvil's left slot and iron nuggets in the right slot. The anvil will show the repair cost in experience levels. Confirm the repair by taking the restored piece from the output slot.

Maintain Your Armor

Repair chainmail regularly to keep it in good condition during adventures. Since iron nuggets are easier to obtain than iron ingots, maintaining chainmail armor is more resource-efficient than repairing iron armor.
