Craft a Complete Chainmail Set

To craft a full chainmail set (helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots), you'll need a substantial amount of iron nuggets. Calculate your total needs before gathering—a complete set requires significantly more nuggets than a single piece.

Craft Each Piece Sequentially

Use your crafting table to make each armor piece one at a time. The chestplate uses the most nuggets, requiring a larger cross pattern. Leggings and boots follow similar patterns scaled to their size. Work methodically through each piece.

Equip Your Full Armor

Once complete, equip all four pieces into your armor slots. A full chainmail set provides balanced protection across your body. This setup is ideal for exploration and combat in mid-game, offering better durability than leather while remaining craftable without rare materials. You can repair individual pieces as they wear down using an anvil and iron nuggets.
