Build Permanent Structures with Bedrock

Placing Bedrock Blocks

Bedrock blocks can be placed anywhere in your world—above ground, underground, in the air, or in water. Select the bedrock block from your inventory and place it like you would any other block. It integrates seamlessly with your existing builds.

Design Considerations

Bedrock is visually distinctive and dark, making it ideal for:

  • Decorative accents – Use as trim, pillars, or detail work
  • Secure storage areas – Build vaults or treasure rooms that cannot be broken into
  • Permanent landmarks – Create monuments or markers that will never be destroyed
  • Defensive structures – Build unbreakable walls or barriers

Important Warning

Once placed, bedrock cannot be broken by any normal means. Do not place bedrock blocks unless you're certain of their final position. Plan your design carefully before committing blocks to the world. Consider marking placement areas with temporary blocks first.
