Creating and Sharing a Waypoint

Waypoints let you mark important locations and invite teammates to navigate there together.

Step 1: Mark the Location

Stand at the spot you want to save—your base, a mining cave, or a village. Open your waypoint menu with /waypoints. Select the option to create a new waypoint and give it a clear name like "Main Base" or "Nether Portal."

Step 2: Make It Public

Once saved, return to /waypoints and find your new marker. Toggle it to public or shared mode so other players can see it in their waypoint list.

Step 3: Guide Your Friends

Tell teammates to open /waypoints and look for your shared point. They can click it to activate a compass pointer and particle trail leading directly to you. For instant coordination, use /here to paste your exact coordinates in chat—friends can click the message to set a temporary waypoint.

Navigation Tips

The compass in your boss bar updates in real-time as you move toward an active waypoint. You can track multiple waypoints at once by toggling between them in the menu.
