Adjust Lighting Intensity for Your Base
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually accessed through your graphics settings or shader menu). Look for the Cozy & Light configuration panel.
Modify Light Levels
Locate the brightness or lighting intensity slider. This controls how soft and warm the ambient light appears throughout your world. Increase it to make interiors feel more inviting, or decrease it for moodier shadows in caves and night scenes.
Fine-Tune Warm Tones
Many players adjust the color temperature setting to enhance the "cozy" effect. Warmer settings make torchlight and sunset glow feel more natural and comfortable, especially in survival bases with wooden or stone interiors.
Test Your Changes
Move between different times of day and lighting conditions to see how your adjustments feel. Visit both outdoor areas and enclosed spaces—the shader's soft lighting should enhance both without creating harsh contrasts or washing out details.
Save Your Preferences
Once satisfied, confirm your settings are saved. Your configuration will persist across game sessions.
