Troubleshoot Camera Behavior and Stuttering

Check Your Configuration Settings

If the camera feels jerky or unresponsive, open the mod's config menu and review your smoothing speed settings. Values that are too extreme in either direction can cause the camera to feel disconnected from your character. Try adjusting to a middle value and test in-game.

Verify Smooth Transitions

When pressing F5 to switch between first-person and third-person, the transition should be seamless. If you notice stuttering or lag during the switch, your camera smoothing settings may need adjustment. Lower the smoothing value slightly and test again.

Test in Different Environments

Camera performance can vary depending on your location and render distance. If you experience stuttering in one area but not another, it may be a performance issue rather than a mod configuration problem. Try the same camera settings in a different location to isolate the cause.

Reset to Defaults

If problems persist, reset the mod's configuration to default values in the config menu. This often resolves unexpected behavior. You can then gradually adjust settings again to find what works best for your system.
