Set Up Your Cosmetic Armor for the First Time

Opening the Cosmetic Armor GUI

When you first equip armor, you'll notice additional slots have appeared in your armor screen. These are your cosmetic slots, positioned separately from your regular armor slots. Open your inventory to see both sets side by side.

Equipping Cosmetic Armor

1. Place any armor piece into the cosmetic slots below your functional armor

2. The cosmetic armor will immediately display on your character model

3. Your actual protection comes only from the armor in your regular slots—cosmetic pieces provide zero defense

4. Mix and match different armor styles; you can wear diamond protection with iron cosmetics, or any combination you prefer

Checking Your Setup

Stand in front of a mirror or water surface to see how your character looks with both sets applied. The cosmetic layer renders on top of your functional armor, so you'll see the cosmetic appearance while keeping your real stats intact. This is especially useful for role-playing servers or when you want a specific aesthetic without sacrificing protection.
