How to Fight the Boss

Craft a Royal Skull and locate an active Conjuring Altar (clear the two blocks above it). Right-click the altar's top with the Royal Skull to summon the Skeleton King.

The boss begins with an invulnerability wind-up phase—dodge these initial attacks before engaging. Phase one features wide melee sweeps, charging attacks that pierce through blocks, teleport strikes, and minion summons. When the boss drops below half health, phase two activates: it moves faster, takes reduced damage, steals health from hits, ignores magic damage, and uses a defensive guard stance that counters incoming attacks.

Watch the Skeleton Warriors for readable wind-up animations to time your dodges. Defeat both phases to earn the Skeleton King's Blade, bones, Umbrium Ingots, and Scarlite.
