How to Tell Whether CoroUtil Is Actually Loaded and Working

Because CoroUtil adds no visible content, many players install it and then wonder if it is doing anything at all. There is no CoroUtil block to place or item to craft, so you have to check indirectly. Here is how to confirm it is present and functioning.

Check the Mod List

Open the in-game mod list screen (the one your loader provides, usually reachable from the main menu or the pause menu). Search for "CoroUtil". If it appears there, the mod file was recognized and loaded. If it does not appear, the file is in the wrong folder, has the wrong loader, or was rejected due to a version mismatch.

Check the Dependent Mod

The real test is whether the mod that needs CoroUtil works. Launch a world and try to use a feature from that dependent mod — for example, open its config screen or trigger one of its mechanics. If it functions normally, CoroUtil is doing its job behind the scenes.

Check the Logs

If something is wrong, read the game log. A missing or incompatible CoroUtil typically produces a clear error naming CoroUtil as a missing dependency, or a class-loading error referencing one of its internal packages. That message tells you whether the problem is a missing file, a loader mismatch, or a version mismatch.

Common False Alarms

  • CoroUtil not showing any config options of its own is normal — its config is usually managed through the mods that use it.
  • No new creative-tab entries is also normal; it is a library, not a content pack.
