How to Recycle Copper Blocks into Ingots

Basic Recycling Process

Copper Recycling Mod allows you to convert copper blocks back into ingots through smelting. This works for all copper block variants, regardless of their oxidation state or wax coating.

Steps to Recycle

1. Gather copper blocks from your world or storage. These can be:

  • Fresh (unoxidized) copper blocks
  • Partially oxidized copper blocks
  • Fully oxidized (weathered) copper blocks
  • Waxed versions of any oxidation level

2. Place the blocks in a furnace, blast furnace, or smoker

3. Add fuel to your smelting device (coal, wood, etc.)

4.

Why This Matters

This mod fills a gap in vanilla Minecraft by letting you recover copper from decorative blocks you no longer need. Unlike gold and iron, vanilla copper had no recycling option, making this mod essential for resource management in copper-heavy builds.
