Use Copper Ingots to Power Your Beacon

Understanding Beacon Fuel

Copper ingots function as a direct replacement for traditional beacon fuel. One ingot provides the same duration and power as one iron, gold, diamond, or netherite ingot would in vanilla beacons.

Inserting Copper Ingots

Open your completed beacon's interface by right-clicking it. You'll see the payment slot at the bottom of the menu. Place copper ingots here—you can insert multiple at once to extend the effect duration. Each ingot adds time to your active effect.

Selecting Effects

After inserting copper ingots, the available effects depend on your pyramid's height:

  • 1 layer: Speed or Haste
  • 2 layers: Speed, Haste, or Resistance
  • 3 layers: Speed, Haste, Resistance, or Jump Boost
  • 4 layers: All effects plus Strength

Click your desired effect to activate it. The beacon beam will display, and nearby players gain the buff. When the copper ingots are consumed, the effect stops until you add more fuel.

Copper is abundant after mining, making this an efficient way to maintain long-term beacon effects.
