Record and Remember Important Locations
Saving Location Data
The coordinate overlay makes it easy to document important places in your world for future reference.
How to Record Locations
1. Travel to a location you want to remember (your base, a village, a mine, etc.)
2. Read the coordinates displayed on your screen
3. Write them down in a notepad, spreadsheet, or in-game sign
4. Include a description of what's at that location for quick identification
Organizing Your Coordinates
Create a system for storing location data:
- Keep a notebook or text file with coordinates and descriptions
- Place signs at important locations with their own coordinates
- Use a spreadsheet to track multiple bases and resources
- Share coordinates with teammates on multiplayer servers
Returning to Saved Locations
When you want to return to a recorded location, simply navigate using the coordinates as described in the navigation guide. The overlay ensures you can verify your position at every step, making it nearly impossible to get lost. This system is especially valuable for survival mode, where losing track of your base can be frustrating.
